Ice Cream Makers
There are two main types of ice cream maker. There are the cheaper ones which you have to put the freezing bowl in the freezer for many hours and then use the other part of the machine to whip the icecream. If this sort doesn't make the ice cream before the bowl has defrosted you have to refreeze it. The other sort of ice cream maker is electrical and this does the freezing and beating all together. Ice cream is made by making a custard style mix and then freezing this whilst continually beating to prevent formation of ice crystals.
